It was a mixed day for India in Tokyo as Sindhu once again failed to get past Akane Yamaguchi and lost 18-21, 15-21; but Sai Praneeth continued his good form to go through to the last-four stage after defeating Tommy Sugiarto 21-12, 21-15.
