Boxing training suspended after Simranjit tests positive for Covid

Covid-19 has entered the Tokyo Olympic-bound Indian women boxing team. It’s been learned that quota holder Simranjit Kaur (60kg) has tested positive for the coronavirus. This is the first case of Covid among the Tokyo-bound female pugilists. Simranjit had bagged an Olympic quota at the Asian qualifiers in March last year.
