Tom Curran faces four-match ban in BBL for altercation with umpire

Tom Curran, England's fast-bowling all-rounder, has been banned for four matches in the Big Bash League (BBL) following a pre-match incident with an umpire. Cricket Australia charged Curran with a Level 3 offense under the Code of Conduct, citing his conduct during a practice run-up. Curran ran onto the pitch despite a verbal instruction, and the Match Referee charged him with intimidation or attempted intimidation of an umpire under Article 2.17 of the Code of Conduct.
