Who is David Payne? Signed by SRH as Jack Edwards replacement

Sunrisers Hyderabad has signed England pacer David Payne as an injury replacement for Jack Edwards for Rs 1.5 crore. Payne, a left-arm fast-medium bowler with extensive T20 experience and 304 wickets, joins SRH ahead of their IPL 2026 opener. He previously played one ODI for England and excelled in various T20 leagues.
